Man shot at least five times in suspected aggression incident in Philadelphia’s Hunting Park neighborhood

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — Philadelphia police are investigating after a man was shot at least five times in an alleged road rage incident, Action News has learned.

It happened on Wednesday around 10:40 p.m. at the corner of Erie Avenue and 9th Street in the Hunting Park neighborhood.

The victim was taken to Temple University Hospital. His condition is unknown.

Sources say the shooting is related to an attack on the street, according to Action News.

Helicopter 6 was in the air while police searched several vehicles following the shooting.

It is still unclear whether any arrests have been made.
