Later, Ouran went to her home to reconcile with her, and not only did she fail, but Kadode regretted her actions and jumped from her balcony to kill herselfBut before anything could happen, the scene abruptly switched back to the present, where Ouran, seemingly unaware of what happened in the last two episodes, texts Kadode that she saw a ghost.

While Dead Dead Demon’s Dededede Destruction Episode 5 was lighthearted, episode 6 went brilliantly in the opposite direction. Kadode’s descent into a self-righteous serial killer felt like a natural extension of her previously established views on bullying and justice, and as poignant as her changed attitude was, the preparations for Kadode’s suicide made her changed attitude even worse. Despite the science fiction elements, Kadode’s story arc can be seen as a depiction of what happens when victims of bullying are pushed too far, and witnessing it is as tragic as you would expect.


The direction of episode #6 also conveyed these points excellently. Whether it was a moment that was meant to be haunting or a moment that was meant to be emotional, Dead Dead Demon’s Dededede Destruction Episode 6 always conveyed the mood very well with its music and camera work.with Kadode’s suicide standing out in particular. Overall, it was probably the best episode of Crunchyroll’s Dead Dead Demon’s Dededede Destruction to this day, and it is the best proof of how excellent the writing was from the beginning.
