50-year-old man arrested for sexually abusing an 8-year-old girl

HYDERABAD: A 50-year-old man was arrested for sexually abusing an 8-year-old girl in Pethulla village under Ibrahimpatnam police station jurisdiction.

The incident came to light when the girl’s parents noticed the assault and immediately lodged a complaint with the police. The accused, Boda Narasimha, was immediately taken into custody and a case was registered against him under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. The girl was taken to the hospital for a medical examination.

Further investigations in this case are ongoing.
