(UPDATE 2) Tokaido Shinkansen resumes service after suspension due to power outage

Tokaido Shinkansen service was suspended due to a power outage on Nozomi No. 12 train between Kakegawa and Shizuoka stations at around 12:15 on Saturday.

According to the Central Japan Railway Co. (JR Tokai), operations on the valley line resumed at around 3:10 p.m. and on the mountain line at around 3:20 p.m.
