Charleston County officials search for two missing children after finding mother dead

CHARLESTON COUNTY, SC (WCSC) – The Charleston County Sheriff’s Office is searching for two young brothers.

Dillon Racancoj, 4, and Kenneth Racancoj, 9, were reported missing after officials found the boys’ mother dead Friday afternoon, sheriff’s spokesman Alexis Douglas said.

Shortly before 4 p.m., officers conducted a welfare check requested by the New Jersey State Police at an address in the 9900 block of Highway 78. When they arrived, they found a woman dead.

Investigators determined that the woman, whose name was not released, had two children who were not at the scene, Douglas said.
