1 dead, 2 seriously injured after collision between vehicle and light pole in Tempe

TEMPE, AZ (AZFamily) — One person is dead and two others are in the hospital after an accident in Tempe on Sunday afternoon.

Tempe Police were called to the area of ​​Priest Drive and Loop 202 because a vehicle had collided head-on with a light pole.

According to police, there were three adults in the vehicle. One person died at the scene of the accident and two others were taken to hospital in critical condition.

An investigation is underway into what led to the crash.
