Houston Pride Parade and Festival 2024: Hundreds of thousands will celebrate Pride Houston in downtown Saturday

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — The largest celebration of Houston’s LGBTQ+ community kicks off Saturday in downtown Houston.

The 46th annual Pride Houston celebration will open at noon in front of Houston City Hall, promising a day of fun, joy and inclusive music.

Later, as the sun begins to set, downtown will come alive with all the pomp and circumstance of the Pride Houston parade, which is expected to draw more than 850,000 people.

ABC13 and Hulu will be live streaming this year’s parade, starting at 7:15 p.m. CDT. Just search for “ABC13 Houston” in your app store to watch.

Festival tickets are free for visitors under 21 or over 55; anyone can get in for $10 at the door. Participation in the parade is free.

A long list of artists is expected throughout the day at this year’s festival, including familiar faces from CMA And “American Idol”.

In May, Pride Houston Announcement Singers K. Michelle and Brooke Eden would join David Archuleta on the main stage.

A parade pre-show will begin at 6 p.m., with approximately 150 colorful parade entries, vehicles and marching teams will descend at 7:15 p.m.

  • Left on Smith to Walker St.
  • Straight on Walker to Milam St.
  • Straight on Milam to Pease St.
