Passenger killed in two-vehicle crash in Eastland County | KTAB

EASTLAND COUNTY, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – A passenger was killed in a two-vehicle accident in Eastland County on Monday morning.

According to an accident report from the Texas Department of Public Safety, Brenda Lucas was pronounced dead at the hospital around 11 a.m. following the crash on FM 2214 south of Eastland.

The press release states that an SUV was traveling south on the road, crossed the center line in a no-passing zone and collided with Lucas’s northbound vehicle.

Lucas was a passenger in the vehicle that was struck. Both drivers involved suffered minor injuries and were treated and released.

The investigation is ongoing and no further information is currently available.
