3 teens arrested for chase involving stolen vehicle in Sac County

Three teenagers were taken into custody Thursday night after leading Sacramento County sheriff’s officers on a chase. The sheriff’s office said officers spotted a stolen vehicle near Walerga Road and Shandwick Drive in Antelope around 6 p.m. When officers attempted to stop the vehicle, the suspects led them on a chase that ended at Grice Court, according to officials. After the suspects stopped, the three teens jumped out of the vehicle and ran to get away, according to the sheriff’s office. Officials said officers closed some streets while they searched for the teens. All three were taken into police custody. Officials have not said what charges they may face. Three teenagers were taken into custody Thursday night after leading Sacramento County Sheriff’s officers on a chase.

The sheriff’s office said officers discovered a stolen vehicle around 6 p.m. near Walerga Road and Shandwick Drive in Antelope.

When officers attempted to stop the vehicle, the suspects said they led them on a chase that ended at Grice Court.

After the suspects stopped, the three teens jumped out of the vehicle and ran to escape, according to the sheriff’s office.

Officials said officers closed several streets while they searched for the teens.

All three were taken into police custody.

The authorities have not disclosed what charges they face.
