Dallas, Texas: Pedestrian killed after collision with two cars

DALLAS – Police are investigating a fatal crash that left a pedestrian dead Wednesday.

According to a Dallas Police press release, officers responded to reports of an accident at approximately 4:20 a.m. in the 9500 block of Forest Lane.

Investigators determined that a woman crossing the street outside of a designated crosswalk was struck by a westbound car. The woman was then struck by a second vehicle, police said.

The victim died at the scene, police said. The department did not initially release the victim’s name.

The incident is currently being investigated, police said.
