Kenya Moore reacts to ‘RHOA’ ban over co-star’s NSFW posters

Kenya Moore has spoken about her future involvement in The Real Housewives of Atlanta after reports emerged that she had been suspended indefinitely from the Bravo show for revealing NSFW posters of series newcomer Brittany Eady during filming.

“You’re going to see me,” the reality star said during an Instagram Live on Friday. “Despite all this stuff, I’m not going anywhere.”

Moore showed the posters, which allegedly showed Eady performing oral sex on an unknown person, while the cast and crew were on site at the grand opening of the Kenya Moore Hair Spa in Atlanta on June 6, PEOPLE reports. Eady was not present when Moore unveiled the posters.

Following the incident, a source confirmed to the outlet that Moore has been suspended from the show and will not return until the network completes its investigation. The source also claimed that Moore shared the posters after Eady allegedly threatened her with the word “gun.”

However, a second source close to the Bravo production told PEOPLE: “At no point was Kenya threatened with a weapon, nor was a weapon ever used during the entire production.”

Moore first commented publicly on the alleged incident on June 8 in a post on her X account (formerly Twitter).

“I would never participate in revenge porn,” she wrote at the time. “I have never distributed private pictures or footage of anyone or requested images from others to threaten or blackmail. I have always been vindicated. I cannot speak on STORY even when people are spreading fake news #sweet16.”

Eady also addressed the situation in a series of posts on her Instagram story, which have since been reposted on social media. “Thank you to everyone who contacted me about yesterday’s event,” she wrote. “I am still processing the evil, vile, disgusting, heinous things that were done to hurt me. BULLYING and revenge porn are never okay.”

In a second post, Eady added: “It’s never a good feeling to be attacked or bullied by someone I thought would welcome me into a new circle but never met. Just to clarify, I have never owned weapons or ever threatened anyone. I have never been to jail, been in a fight, or even received a speeding ticket. That is not my character. The portrayal presented here hurts me. Wrong is wrong.”

Moore is a pillar in RHOA since she joined the series in season 5. She had a guest role in season 11 in 2018 and 2019, but returned for season 12 as a main cast member.

Representatives for Moore and Bravo did not immediately respond to EW’s request for comment.
