ABC-7 First Alert: Dangerously hot on Wednesday, record-breaking heat on Thursday

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) – Temperatures continue to rise today! We have an ABC-7 First Warning for dangerous heat expected Wednesday through Friday, with temperatures potentially reaching 40 to 43 degrees Celsius.

Temperatures are expected to reach 38 degrees across the region today. Temperatures are expected to reach 39 degrees in El Paso and 39 degrees in Las Cruces.

Dangerous temperatures will continue for the next seven days.
