Rape: Man arrested for raping his 16-year-old daughter | Meerut News

Meerut: Bulandshahr police have arrested a 42-year-old man for allegedly raping his 16-year-old daughter, police said on Sunday. According to police, the survivor’s mother filed a complaint after the girl narrated her ordeal. Her mother told police that she had gone out a few days ago and left her daughter at home when she was raped by her father. When the mother questioned him, he beat her and her daughter, who tried to save her. On June 2, when the mother went to work, the accused raped the girl again. CO Bhaskar Mishra said, “An FIR has been filed under IPC sections 376 (rape), 323 (criminal assault), 506 (criminal intimidation) and 5/6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (Pocso) Act. The accused has been arrested and sent to jail. Further investigation is on.”
