Amber Alert lifted after two children abducted by non-custodial parent | News

SAND SPRINGS, Oklahoma – An Amber Alert has been lifted after two children were found unharmed.

Sand Springs police said the children were taken by their non-custodial parent during a school event at Garfield Elementary in Sand Springs around 1 p.m. Wednesday.

Police said they were not informed of the kidnapping until around 5 p.m.

The children could now return safely to their father.

FOX23 is working to determine if any arrests will be made in this case.
