Jury unable to reach consensus in case of Abilene tattoo artist accused of sexual assault | KTAB

Tattoo artist Kevin Bostick was arrested and is said to have sexually abused several customers.

ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – The case of an Abilene tattoo artist accused of sexual assault resulted in a mistrial due to a hung jury.

In connection with the allegations, Kevin Bostick appeared in court in Taylor County last week on two counts of sexual assault.

The jury was unable to reach a verdict, resulting in a mistrial.

In February 2022, a woman came forward claiming she was sexually assaulted by Bostick while he was tattooing her at Happy Dragon Tattoo on South 14th Street.

While investigating the February incident, investigators discovered, according to documents, that another victim came forward in May 2020, claiming that Bostick sexually assaulted her while also giving her a tattoo.
