Three dead after early morning accident on I-69

HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) – Three people are dead in a crash on I-69 in Daviess County, Indiana.

According to the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office, it happened around 4:49 a.m. Sunday near the 56.5 mile marker.

Officials say the investigation is ongoing to identify those involved, notify family members and reconstruct the crash. They were able to say that two vehicles were involved and the fatalities at the scene resulted from one vehicle. Officials also say the driver of the second vehicle was taken to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.
