Police have cordoned off a children’s playground where a man was reportedly raped last night.

Investigations are underway at the Viking Ship Play Park in Ethelbert Crescent, Cliftonville, Margate following the alleged attack.

It is said to have occurred between 10 p.m. on Monday and 12:50 a.m. this morning.

A police spokesman said: “Kent Police are investigating the Ethelbert Crescent area of ​​Margate following a report of a man being raped.”

“Officers are working to determine the circumstances of the incident.”
