Two dead in police chase near Hobby Airport

HOUSTON (KIAH) – The Houston Police Department (HPD) was involved in a chase near Long and Lancaster around 2:30 a.m. The pursuit lasted a total of 2 minutes before their vehicle crashed and rolled multiple times. One passenger was pronounced dead at the scene, another was taken to a nearby hospital where he was later pronounced dead. Two other passengers are currently in critical condition with life-threatening injuries.
