Seattle police are investigating a hit-and-run incident in the Denny Triangle neighborhood

Seattle Police detectives are investigating a hit-and-run accident Friday evening in Seattle’s Denny Triangle neighborhood.

At around 9:30 p.m., police responded to calls that a man had been struck by a car near the intersection of Olive Way and Minor Avenue.

When officers arrived, they found an unconscious man on the street.

The Seattle Fire Department pronounced the victim dead.

The area was secured and officers began searching for the affected car.

The investigation is being led by the Traffic Accident Investigation Unit. Anyone with information is asked to call (206) 684-8923.
