First Alert Weather: Wind warning for the coast of Gaviota

Weather conditions will change this coming weekend. A wind advisory is in effect along the Gaviota coast until 9pm Friday. Winds will be 20-30 mph, with gusts up to 45 mph. Be careful of patio furniture, which can be easily knocked over.

Saturday will be warmer and clearer, just in time for the long weekend. Winds of 20-30 mph are expected on the Gaviota coast on Saturday. Winds in the rest of the region will be between 10 and 20 mph. Temperatures will begin to rise, with coastal areas seeing temperatures in the 60s and 70s. Valleys will see temperatures in the 60s and 70s, while inland areas are expected to see temperatures in the 70s.

The rest of the weekend will be very nice as the weather warms up and the forecast calls for clearer skies. Even warmer temperatures are expected during the second half of the work week.
