Woman killed, two men seriously injured in shooting in southeast Houston

HOUSTON – One person was killed and two others were injured after a shooting broke out Thursday evening in southeast Houston, according to the Houston Police Department.

The shooting was reported at 9:10 p.m. at 1118 Choate Circle.

Police said a woman was fatally beaten and at least two men were injured. One of the injured men reportedly went to a fire station on Galveston Road, a mile from the scene of the shooting.

Both men are in critical condition.
