Man arrested after hitting and killing pedestrian in Brentwood

A Suffolk man was arrested for striking and killing a pedestrian in Brentwood, police said.

According to police, Ian Fox of Brentwood was driving east on Suffolk Avenue around 11 p.m. Wednesday when he struck a man in the road.

The man, whose identity is unknown, died in hospital.

News 12 was told Fox is charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle.
