15-year-old killed in vehicle crash on I-465 near Binford Boulevard exit – Indianapolis News | Indiana Weather | Indiana traffic

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A 15-year-old boy died at a hospital Sunday after being injured in a car crash on Interstate 465 sometime Friday.

The Marion County Coroner’s Office identified the boy as Jose Raffee Rodriguez.

The accident occurred sometime Friday on southbound I-465 near the 38.6 mile marker. This is located in northeast Indianapolis between the Binford Boulevard and East 56th Street exits.

After the accident, Rodriguez was taken to Eskenazi Hospital for treatment, where he died sometime Sunday.

It was unclear what caused the accident, how many vehicles were involved and whether anyone else was injured.
