Police-involved shooting in Dyersburg under investigation

DYERSBURG, Tenn. – An early morning shooting in Dyersburg is under investigation.

According to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, agents are investigating an officer-involved shooting that occurred early this morning in Dyersburg.

We reached out to TBI for further information and received the following statement from Leslie Earhart, PIO at TBI.

“At the request of 29th Judicial District Attorney General Danny Goodman, TBI agents are investigating the circumstances leading up to an officer-involved shooting that occurred this morning along Keats Street in Dyersburg. We will provide additional details later today on TBINewsroom.com once agents have had an opportunity to gather preliminary information.”
