20-year-old seriously injured in hit-and-run in Parma; investigations ongoing

According to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, a 20-year-old man was struck by a car in Parma early Saturday morning, suffering serious injuries.

The incident occurred around 2:45 a.m. on West Avenue in Parma, officials said.

The unidentified victim was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment.

The vehicle involved fled the scene of the accident.
