Bus attacked, vehicles burned during riots in Leeds

Eyewitness video captured the chaos that unfolded in Leeds, England on Thursday, July 18, as riots broke out following a suspected family-related incident.

Footage from Robin Singh shows the attack on a double-decker bus, the setting off of fireworks and burning vehicles in the Harehills area.

Local Labour councillor Salma Arif said LBC an “incident involving a family involving care services” led to “spontaneous unrest”.

Home Secretary Yvette Cooper said she was “appalled by the shocking scenes and attacks on police vehicles and public transport”.
