Fatal accident in Gray County

A fatal crash occurred at 10:35 a.m. 3.6 miles south of US 56 on County Road 10 in Gray County.

A 2016 Ford F550 driven by Bruce Sonday, 52, of Montezuma was traveling eastbound on GG Road. A 2013 Kenworth tractor-trailer driven by Everett Koehn, 69, of Ulysses was traveling north on County Road 10. The Ford
was unable to yield the right of way to the Kenworth that collided with the semi-truck at the intersection.

Sonday was taken to St. Catherine’s Hospital, where he died as a result. Koehn was taken to St. Catherines Hospital with serious injuries.
