Wyoming man dies in car crash near Wyoming-Montana border; collision with truck

CASPER, Wyoming – A 27-year-old Wyoming man died Monday, July 8, near Frannie, Wyoming, after colliding with the rear of a Peterbilt tractor-trailer, according to preliminary information in a Wyoming Highway Patrol report.

The accident was reported at 10:05 p.m. on US 310 near mile marker 256.8 in Park County, Wyoming, just south of the Montana border. The report stated that Scott Anderson was driving his Ford Escape at a high rate of speed when the Peterbilt truck turned right into the business driveway. The Ford struck the truck at 115 mph.

According to the report, the truck driver was uninjured.
