Pregnant woman allegedly raped by six men in Nasarawa

According to Nasarawa Mirror, the incident which occurred on Friday, July 12, 2024, in Kadiri, Keana Local Government Area of ​​Nasarawa State has left residents in a state of outrage and fear.

The victim described her experience and said she was working on the farm with her husband when the alleged militia gang showed up.

When they saw her, they both ran away. However, due to her condition, she could not escape and fell to the ground.

The armed men took turns raping her until she was bleeding and barely conscious before they let her go.

With the help of her husband, she was later located and taken to the hospital for medical treatment.

However, the incident has increased tensions on the ground and there are concerns about the safety of farmers amid repeated attacks and assaults.

The community, whose residents are predominantly farmers, appealed to the government to intervene quickly and ensure that justice is done for the innocent victim.
