BLOEMFONTEIN, FREE STATE – A group of men allegedly broke into a house in Bloemfontein in the Free State and one of them raped a gogo girl.

SABC News reported that the incident occurred on July 13 at Bergman Square. The gogo was sleeping in the same room as a teenager. She and other residents of the building had stayed overnight to prepare for a funeral.

Then the group heard someone break down the door. Three men broke into the house and went into the Gogo’s bedroom. They demanded money and one of them grabbed her after taking her money. He raped her inside the house and again outside. Then the suspects stabbed the boy in the arm and head. The Gogo screamed and the suspects fled.

South Africans are angry about the incident

Internet users angrily condemned the incident on Facebook, with many people calling the alleged rapist evil.

“During the funeral preparations, relatives are all over the property, so it’s difficult for me to figure out exactly what happened.”

Man released on bail for raping Gogo for raping another

In a similar article, Briefly News reported that a man arrested by police for the alleged rape and killing of a gogo girl was arrested again.

The suspect allegedly broke into another Gogo’s house and raped her. He was arrested and South Africans were left disappointed with the country’s justice system.
