Local man arrested on multiple charges — DavidsonLocal.com

On Wednesday, July 10, 2024, officers from the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division arrested Logan Todd Kates of Lexington and charged him with kidnapping, assault causing great bodily harm, domestic violence, and uttering threats.

Officers went to the Sheetz at 12290 NC Hwy 150 to meet with the complainant, who stated she was physically assaulted by Logan Kates. Officers collected enough evidence to obtain felony and misdemeanor arrest warrants for Logan Kates.

Officers went to his residence, where Logan Kates was subsequently arrested and served with outstanding warrants.

Logan Kates was held without bail in the Davidson County Jail. Kates has a court date of July 30, 2024 in Lexington District Court.
