Diddy accused of sex trafficking and sexual assault in new lawsuit

The latest in a series of sexual harassment and sex trafficking lawsuits was filed against Sean “Diddy” Combs on Wednesday. It is the ninth case against the disgraced hip-hop mogul since last year, when his former partner Cassie Ventura sued him.

In the lawsuit filed in New York, former porn actress Adria English claimed the rapper and former CEO of Bad Boy Entertainment forced her into prostitution and sex work with guests at his annual “white parties” in the Hamptons and Miami, according to Entertainment Weekly. English claimed she was forced “to use illegal drugs and alcohol while employed by Combs” between 2006 and 2009.

In a statement to Entertainment Weekly, Combs’ attorney Jonathan Davis called English’s allegations “baseless.”

“No matter how many lawsuits are filed, it will not change the fact that Mr. Combs never sexually harassed or sexually acted against anyone,” Davis said. “We live in a world where anyone can file a lawsuit for any reason and without evidence. Fortunately, there is a fair and impartial legal process to find out the truth, and Mr. Combs is confident he will prevail in court against these and other unsubstantiated claims.”
