Police: Albany man pointed a gun at roadside aggression on 787

An Albany man was arrested for allegedly pointing a gun at 787 during an incident of aggression on April 13 at around 4:30 p.m.

Khymeir Yarbrough, 25, was arrested on Tuesday.

There were two adults and a child under the age of 17 in the car, state police said.

A warrant was issued for Yarbrough’s arrest. Police found him during a traffic stop on Madison Avenue. During the stop, he ran away but was quickly arrested on Patridge Street. Police found heavy narcotics in his possession.

Yarbrough was charged with reckless endangerment, menacing, endangering the welfare of a child, two counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance and resisting arrest.

Yarbrough was arraigned in Green Island Municipal Court and remanded to the Albany County Jail without bail.
