“Over the weekend, our dedicated night shift officers responded to a shoplifting incident in the 5100 block of Commons Drive. The suspects, a man and a woman, fled the scene. Thanks to the vigilance of our patrol officer, the suspect’s vehicle was located just as it was leaving the mall. A traffic stop was conducted, resulting in the arrest of both subjects.

The male suspect was under PRCS (Post Release Community Supervision) and had multiple warrants out for his arrest. The female suspect also had multiple warrants out for his arrest. Stolen beauty products valued at several thousand dollars were recovered. The charges for both cases are: grand theft, organized shoplifting, possession of stolen property and conspiracy.

Our officers are doing a great job keeping our community safe and prosecuting the perpetrators!”
