Accident on Highway 32 and Highway 300 leaves one injured

DOUGHERTY COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) – A man was injured in an accident on Highways 32 and 300.

According to Georgia State Patrol (GSP) Trooper Jamill Curry 205, on Tuesday, July 2, at approximately 1:15 p.m., the driver of a black Corvette crossed Highway 300 at Highway 32 and drove in front of a white GMC pickup truck, striking the car directly behind the driver on the driver’s side.

According to GSP Trooper Curry, the accident appears to involve the Corvette, but this needs further investigation.

WALB was on scene when the accident occurred. Several Good Samaritans stopped traffic while others checked on the driver until emergency responders arrived.
