Man and dog probably electrocuted in Severn garden, police say

BALTIMORE – A man and his dog died Sunday afternoon in Severn, presumably from electrocution, according to Anne Arundel County police.

Emergency crews were called to the 1400 block of Maryland Avenue after trees and branches were downed and an electric shock was reported.

According to police, a man went outside and saw dangling wires.

According to the US state of Anne Arundel County, a severe weather warning was issued Sunday afternoon with heavy rain and wind gusts of up to 70 miles per hour. WJZ’s First Alert Weather Team.
