Truck driver wanted by Houston police for collision with cyclist



Police are searching for a truck driver after a crash between a commercial vehicle and a cyclist left one person dead.

The crash occurred June 28 along the North Sam Houston Parkway East and West Hardy Road in Houston, Texas.

According to ABC 13, a man was riding his bike on the service road when he was struck by a passing tractor-trailer. The truck driver continued on his way and the incident was reported by a witness who stopped to call 911.

The 53-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. Police are currently searching for the driver of the truck, accused of failing to stop to help a person.
