Smoothie King and 2 Chainz team up for State Farm Area booth

The rapper and longtime Smoothie King fan is bringing nutritious options to Atlanta’s State Farm Arena just in time for the 2024 NBA Draft Party.

ATLANTA — Smoothie King adds some star power to its lineup, according to the company Tuesday. Atlanta rapper 2 Chainz will join as a franchisee.

Partnering with friend and veteran franchisee, Philip Jones, 2 Chainz is opening a Smoothie King kiosk inside State Farm Arena in time for the Atlanta Hawks NBA Draft Party on June 26.

“This is an incredibly exciting time for our franchise and the community. Having two of our favorite partners in 2 Chainz and Smoothie King select State Farm Arena for a new location is a perfect fit. Our fans will appreciate having another nutritious and delicious option at games and concerts,” said Andrew Saltzman, executive vice president and chief revenue officer of Atlanta Hawks & State Farm Arena.

Atlanta sports fans can now enjoy their favorite Smoothie King blends in the arena. This strengthens Smoothie King’s presence in Atlanta, which already has more than 80 stores.

“As we continue to expand, we are excited to welcome 2 Chainz to our franchise family, not to mention working with one of our great partners in the Atlanta Hawks,” said Wan Kim, CEO of Smoothie King. “2 Chainz’s passion for health and wellness aligns perfectly with our mission to inspire a healthy, active lifestyle; this, coupled with his entrepreneurial spirit, embodies the essence of our brand and makes it a perfect combination.

The kiosk will debut at the NBA Draft Party and will feature popular blends like Angel Food, Gladiator Vanilla and Caribbean Way.

“I visit Smoothie King at least twice a week, so this partnership has been a long time coming,” 2 Chainz said. “Opening a Smoothie King at State Farm Arena seemed like the right decision. Throughout my health journey, I’ve been mindful of my choices, and when I go to games and events, it’s no different: I’m always looking for nutritious options, and Smoothie King is in a class of its own when it comes to delicious smoothies with no added sugar. I am proud to join the brand.

“This is a win for our community and our fans,” said Andrew Saltzman, executive vice president and chief revenue officer of the Atlanta Hawks & State Farm Arena. “Our fans will love having a healthy option at games and concerts.”
