Man dies after lawnmower accident near Kansas City

LAFAYETTE COUNTY – Just before 4 p.m. Saturday, one person died in a crash in Lafayette County, about 35 miles east of Kansas City.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2021 Zero-Turn Bad Boy lawn mower operated by Mark A. Aldrich, 68, of Hollywood, Florida, traveling southbound on 4751 Oakland School Road. The mower overturned and came to rest on top of the driver.
