Mercy Flight responds after a pedestrian was struck in Lockport

LOCKPORT, NY – Mercy Flight was called after a pedestrian was struck in the town of Lockport on Wednesday afternoon.

The incident occurred at 1:49 p.m. in the 6300 block of Robinson Road, east of Transit Road. According to the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office, a pedestrian was stranded in a parking lot. The vehicle was driving into the business premises when the incident occurred.

Mercy Flight was called to the scene. It transported the pedestrian, who the sheriff’s office said had serious injuries, to Erie County Medical Center.

β€œThe driver of the vehicle was uninjured and cooperated with the investigation,” police said.

The names of the people involved are currently being kept secret. The investigation is ongoing.
