Building fire in Lyons leaves several people homeless: Cause under investigation

Late Friday, firefighters were called to an overnight fire at the old Iroquois Hotel on Franklin Street in Lyons.

It is unclear how much damage was done, but the Red Cross was called to the scene to help several adults and a child.

Officially, the address is listed as an apartment building. However, there is no exact information on how many people lived there at the time of the fire.

The cause of the fire was also initially unclear.
