Motorcyclist killed in accident in Spotsylvania

SPOTSYLVANIA COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — A man is dead after he was involved in a two-vehicle crash on his motorcycle in Spotsylvania County last weekend, according to police.

According to the Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s Office, officers responded to the intersection of Benchmark Road and Cahill Street at approximately 5:25 p.m. on Saturday, June 8, for a report of an accident involving a motorcycle and a four-door car.


The motorcyclist, 20-year-old Angel G. Flores of Spotsylvania, was taken to a local hospital where he later died. The driver of the car, an unidentified 74-year-old Spotsylvania man, was not injured in the crash.

This accident remains under investigation by the Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Office.
