Kentucky man arrested for distributing child abuse material

Kentucky State Police arrested an Owen County man Tuesday afternoon for distributing explicit images of children over the Internet. Alex Nathan Dietz, 26, is charged with 10 counts of distributing content depicting a sexual performance by a minor under 12 years of age. The charges are Class C felonies, punishable by five to 10 years in prison for each count. Electronic devices in Dietz’s possession that were related to the crime were also confiscated by police and taken to KSP’s forensic laboratory for examination. Dietz was questioned by police the day of his arrest about his alleged connection to the crime. He was later transported to the Carroll County Detention Center, where he is currently living pending his trial date.
