Man shot in the back on Boston Common, suffers life-threatening injuries – Boston 25 News

BOSTON – Police have cordoned off the area near the Brewer Water Fountain on Boston Common after a man was reportedly shot Monday evening.

According to Boston police, officers called to the Common on a report of a shooting found an adult man with at least one gunshot wound to the back.

The victim was taken to a nearby hospital. Authorities believe his injuries are life-threatening.
