Less than six months after the accident that totaled his Volkswagen Polo GTI, controversial Limpopo rapper Shebeshxt, whose real name is Lehlogonolo Chauke, was involved in another accident.

Limpopo Transport Authority spokesperson Tidimalo Chuene said the accident, which matched the description given to her by News24, occurred in the Capricorn district of Limpopo after 10pm on Saturday evening.

She said the accident occurred when Shebeshxt’s dark grey Volkswagen Polo collided with a heavy motor vehicle and overturned.

A nine-year-old passenger in the Polo suffered fatal injuries, while Shebeshxt and another passenger suffered “serious but life-threatening” injuries that could still be saved.

Per Sunday World, The minor who accompanied the musician to a celebratory concert at the ANC Siyanqoba Rally was his daughter.

Chuene said the cause of the accident was “under investigation.”

News24’s attempts to obtain a statement from the rapper’s management have so far been unsuccessful.

At the beginning of the year, Shebeshxt was involved in an accident in which his car was totaled.

He has also come under fire for alleged reckless driving and not wearing a seatbelt. His alleged violent temper has also made him the talk of the town, along with an incident in which he pulled a gun out of his backpack and flashed it during the performance.

The controversial rapper made his breakthrough in the music industry with the hit single Ke Di Shxt Malume. Since then, he has collaborated with industry greats such as DJ Maphorisa on the 2023 single Twerka.
