Chicora community holds vigil to remember three Butler County men killed in car crash – WPXI

Parisi’s stepmother, Ursula Parisi, was at the prayer vigil on Sunday.

“He was always happy, always laughing and always smiling,” said Ursula Parisi. “They were all three incredible people. I can’t believe it.”

All three young men loved dirt bikes. Family members said they had been training for a race about an hour and a half away before the accident, but unfortunately never returned home to Butler County.

Tommy Shuler was the cousin of Ron Parisi and Levi Deal. He said he was with Parisi the day before the tragedy.

“I just couldn’t believe it. I looked up to him and now I have no one to look up to,” Shuler said. “It was never boring. We were always joking and always laughing. We both loved cars, we both rode dirt bikes and ATVs around the farm, we went fishing and hunting together. I will do everything I can to remember him and hopefully see him again someday.”

Zach Scherer organized the prayer vigil on Sunday.

“We thought maybe 10 or 15 people would come, and of course the parking lot is full,” Scherer said. “These kids were loved by a lot of people.”

Scherer was friends with all three boys, but said he was very close to Deal.

“Every time you saw the kid, he had a smile on his face,” he said. “If you had a bad day, he made it better.”

The pastor of the church said he did not know the three young men but wanted to open his doors to the community to bring everyone together and help them grieve.
