Arrest in connection with theft investigation at Montgomery Dollar General

An arrest was made during an investigation into a theft at a Dollar General store in Montgomery.

According to court documents, 30-year-old Jaquan Jermaine was shot and killed on Saturday, May 25, at around 1:55 p.m. Sanders of Montgomery, committed theft of property at the Dollar General located at 6980 Mobile Highway in Montgomery.

According to records, various cleaning products, diapers and alcoholic (beer) products valued at approximately $984.15 were stolen.

Sanders is being held on $7,500 bail.
