Pryor woman dead after apparent murder-suicide in Ohio | News

PREBLE COUNTY, Ohio – A Pryor woman is dead after an apparent murder-suicide in a car near an Ohio highway.

According to the Preble County Sheriff’s Office in Ohio, they were called to IR-70 on the Indiana border on Monday because a vehicle was traveling eastbound in the westbound lane.

Police patrolled the area but were initially unable to locate the vehicle in question.

About four hours later, officers were called to the area again because a vehicle was in a ditch.

The vehicle was located on the north side of IR-70 in a ditch next to the US-35 ramp, which is currently closed for construction.

A Wayne County, Indiana sheriff’s deputy, along with deputies from Preble County and the Ohio State Highway Patrol, responded to the area and located the vehicle.

The vehicle is probably the same vehicle that was driving in the wrong direction.

The police found dead people in the vehicle who obviously had gunshot wounds.

An autopsy was performed Tuesday at the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office.

The case is currently being investigated as a murder-suicide.

The driver was identified as 31-year-old Alysha M. Roundtree of Pryor, Oklahoma, and the passenger was identified as 31-year-old Robert L. Wilson III, formerly of Twinsburg, Ohio.

FOX23 will provide further updates on the investigation as more information becomes available.
