2 people shot after incident in downtown Sandusky

SANDUSKY, Ohio (WOIO) – Two men were shot in what police are calling a “continuation” of an incident in downtown Sandusky Saturday night.

Sandusky police said the shooting occurred around 11 p.m. near the 200 block of West Market Street.

A man fired several shots in the area and two men sustained gunshot wounds.

Police have not yet identified the shooter, but say the incident has nothing to do with Bike Week.

Police also added: “The shooting was a continuation of an incident that occurred at another downtown business.”

There is no information yet about the condition of the victims.
