Catholic Charities announces relocation and temporary closure of Nichols office

With plans to move to a new office on West River Road in Nichols next month, Catholic Charities of Tompkins/Tioga will suspend all outreach services at the old office on Roki Boulevard from May 20 to June 7, according to the nonprofit .

The closure includes food supplies, availability of clothing, diapers and personal care items, emergency financial services and the community kitchen, CCTT said.

Anyone needing assistance between May 20 and June 7 should make alternative arrangements or visit other available food distribution locations.

“We want to let our customers and neighbors know that this is only a temporary suspension of our essential services,” said Renee Spear, CCTT executive director. “We look forward to welcoming the public to our new space and continuing to work in solidarity with our community to support all those in need.”
